Style #4031

Rumor has it that the
change from the longer,
no-shell version of
Tank to the later
smaller version was
initiated by Texas
retailers. Everyone
knows that a true Texan
knows his armadillos!

Ty apparently stopped
shipping the shelled
version of Tank to the
stores several months
before his retirement
was actually announced
on October 1, 1997.
This created a panic
buying spree when the
retirement was formally
announced. Expect this
little guy's value to
increase substantially.
